1991 Challenger I Long Wing. (completed and first flown 1994). 206 hours TTAE. All tubing has been drilled and injected with internal anti-corrosion inhibitor, and then resealed with closed end rivets. All tubing painted with 3 coats of epoxy paint. Covered with Stits covering, 3 coats of Poly-Spray (UV protection) and 2 coats of paint (silver, blue and white). Original engine cowling was for a Rotax 582, and was stretched 2.5" in anticipation of installing a Jabiru engine.
